• Encourage students to express themselves through the Maths.

Position Purpose:

A Mathematics teacher is part of a team of educators in the Mathematics Department working together to provide the best learning environment for students and, in doing so, will:

· Keep open lines of communication with teachers, administrators, support staff and fellow instructional assistants.

· Prepare students for Checkpoint, IGCSE and AS/A Level exams.

· Respect confidentiality and privacy of information related to students and the workplace.

· Be flexible and willing to perform duties outside the specific scope of your job description.

· Participate in school activities such as staff meetings and other school activities.

· Attend professional learning and training sessions.

· Maintain levels of professional conduct and dress appropriately as a representative of the NBIS community.

Requirements:

Qualification and Experience:

· Master's degree in a Mathematics-related subject.

· PGCE (with QTS preferable)/iPGCE or an equivalent teaching license from home country.

· A minimum of two years of recent successful teaching experience in an educational setting as a Mathematics teacher is preferred.

· Able to speak and write like a first-language English speaker.

· Strong organisational skills.

Secondary - Teacher of English Language and Literature is part of a team of educators in the English Department working together to provide the best learning environment for students and, in doing so, will:

• Keep open lines of communication with teachers, administrators, support staff and fellow instructional assistants

• Prepare students for Checkpoint, IGCSE and AS/A Level exams

• Respect confidentiality and privacy of information related to students and the workplace.

Position Purpose:

A Secondary PE Teacher is an exciting role, with shared responsibility for supporting an inspirational PE curriculum, and developing high standards of teaching and learning at NBIS. This person will be responsible for supporting children’s achievement and wellbeing in PE, and will support initiatives that enhance children’s outcomes. They will be a positive ambassador for change, and will be involved with the professional learning of PE teacher in the PE department through effective professional development.

They will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the PE department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students.

· Sports at a competitive level

· Experience of organizing fixtures and hosting events

· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural understanding.

· Undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.

· Develop and maintain systems for keeping student records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

· Work in a professional manner and with integrity and maintain confidentiality of records and information.

· Contribute to the school improvement plan and whole-school policy.

· Any other tasks required by the International Principal and Head of Secondary which are consistent with the purpose of the position.

Requirements:

Basic:

· Master’s degree or above

· PGCE or equivalent qualifications

· At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience

· Good communication skills with students, parents and colleagues

· Work co-operatively and supportively with all members of staff
