The Cambridge international curriculum sets a global standard for education, and is recognized by universities and employers worldwide. Cambridge International Education curriculum is flexible, challenging and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach. Cambridge students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success at university and in their future careers. Over 10,000 schools in over 160 countries follow the Cambridge international curriculum. The curriculum is international in philosophy and approach, but can be tailored to local contexts.
Cambridge Pathway students have the chance to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to achieve at school, university and beyond.
The four stages lead seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage – Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced – builds on the learners’development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately. Similarly, each syllabus adopts a‘spiral’approach, building on previous learning to help advance students study. CAIE curriculum reflects the latest thinking in each subject area, drawn from expert international research and consultation with schools.

SAT
The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board. The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.
After almost a year of hard work, NBIS has finally become an authorized SAT center. This means that NBIS students who are interested in schools in the United States, Korea or any other countries that require SAT can now take the test here without traveling outside of Mainland China. Please feel free to contact our Exam team or use school line +86-574-87611005 for more information regarding registration and other SAT related questions. For 2021-2022 school year, NBIS SAT Center is registered to administrate Oct, Dec 2021 and March 2022 SAT tests.

NBIS: Newly Authorised Chinese Test Centre
We are glad to announce that NBIS is now authorized as a Chinese Test Centre for the following Chinese tests: Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), HSK Speaking Test (HSKK), Youth Chinese Test (YCT) and Business Chinese Test (BCT). Now that NBIS has become a test centre, students in our school can take these tests on our own campus. It is also an open centre that welcomes Chinese language learners from outside the school who wish to take these tests. This authorization marks that NBIS has obtained an important national examination qualification, which is another solid step forward in the development of the Chinese Language & Culture Programme and International Education and Cultural exchange platform, another brilliant achievement.
